Moores & Rossiter
Artisans of Stone & Garden
Houses, estates and gardens made with the patience of craft and the certainty of things built to last.
A Considered Approach To
Exterior Craftsmanship
We are a collection of artisan stone craftsmen, carpenters, gardeners and builders, passionately at work beside contractors, architects and designers, shaping spaces, homes and gardens that truly inspire.
Our practice is the transformation of property: country estates, external façades, restoration and renovation. We specialise in gardens and outdoor rooms, and in all things stone: artisan walling and paving to the highest levels, fountains and work of a specialist kind.
Materials are reclaimed and sourced from a selection of the finest yards across the South of England. We are experts in flagstone, cutting and dressing all sides when needed, from Yorkstone, French white limestone and blue lias limestone, to create a unique reclaimed finish, brought to perfection.
Restoration and full renovation of old buildings and listed houses; masters in lime work, renewing fabric to the highest, and longest lasting, levels. We work for exclusive clients across Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, London and beyond. We can take on an entire estate, or send a small team for a single line of pointing.
Disciplines & Craftsmanship
Our Core Disciplines
Workmanship Rooted In Tradition
From natural stone selection to traditional lime mortar techniques, every detail is planned with longevity, authenticity, and architectural sensitivity in mind.
The result is exterior work that feels enduring, settled, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
